Super High Build Coating Uses : An ideal chemical resistant epoxy coating recommended for application on ms and concrete structurals, pipelines, tankage exteriors and offshore installations. The coating is suitable for refinery and petrochemical units. Chemical and other highly corrosive industries in both new construction and maintenance situations. Scope: A super high build epoxy coating capable of asset protection in single coat. It protects both ins and concrete from chemicals, solvents, and aggressive exposure conditions. Specifications: - Type : Two Pack, cured with Aliphatic Amine
- Composition : Catalysed Epoxy resin, suitably pigmented
- Mixing Ratio : Base : Catalyst- 4 : 1 by volume
- Application : Brush for small areas. Conventional pressure pot or Airless Spray.
- Pot Life : 60-75 minutes at ambient conditions
- Recommended DFT : 125-300 microns per coat
- Theoretical Spreading Rate : 4.25 Sq. Mtr./Ltr. at average 200 mic DFT

| | Bison High Build MIO CoatingRemove grease, Oil and other contaminants preferably by using bison degreasing solvent blast clean to a minimum of sa 2 swedish standard 515 05 5900 with a surface profile not exceeding 35-40 microns. If blasting is not practical, make full use of mechanical tools along with manual chipping and wire brushing to remove loose rust and scale to st. 2 swedish standard sis 055900. Excessive burnishing of steel is to be avoided. Thoroughly dust down all surfaces. The surface should be clean and dry before application of a suitable primer.
